Hi, Daniela Here.

Frosted Flour LA is the creation of Daniela Carlos Tellalian.  A rising 6th grader in Los Angeles, Daniela has always had a flair for cooking and a love for baking treats.

Daniela first got her experience in baking from her Abuelo.  At a young age, she apprenticed with her grandfather who was skilled at baking artisan bread, bagels, muffins as well as a variety of family recipes from her multicultural family.  She developed a quick knack for handling knives, hot pans, and all those things in the kitchen that kids are not supposed to touch!

When she was nine, Daniela stumbled upon her Mom’s Kiss My Bundt cookbook and started making all kinds of bundt cakes.  She quickly became the home’s top baker and a neighborhood favorite.  Before ever selling a cake, she would hold neighborhood bake sales to support local charities and a beloved Los Angeles homeless shelter, New Image.

Daniela also was influenced by her favorite LA cupcake maker, and her Mom’s co-worker, Anna Apostolos.  Anna taught Daniela the secret to amazing red velvet.  She then mastered her mom’s famous Kahlua chocolate cake.

Along with being ready for middle school, Daniela decided her baked goods were ready for the public.  While her main focus is on her studies, she has matured Daniela’s Delicious Bundts into her first online enterprise – Frosted Flour Los Angeles.

Thanks for reading about Daniela’s journey, and please consider trying one of her delicious cakes.
